FAQ

Does VX Camera support RAW? +

RAW availability depends on what your Android device makes available to camera apps. When supported, VX Camera can capture RAW or RAW+JPEG for a flexible editing workflow.

Which devices are supported? +

VX Camera is built for modern Android devices. Some controls, lenses, and RAW options vary by manufacturer and device model.

How does LUT import work? +

Import compatible LUT files from your device storage, then use them as part of your live creative preview and shooting workflow.

Are my photos backed up automatically? +

VX Camera stores photos locally. Backups depend on your Android gallery, cloud backup, or file management settings.

Why does VX Camera request permissions? +

Camera access powers preview and capture. Storage access supports saving photos and importing LUTs. Location is optional and only used for geotagging.

Can I use VX Camera for timelapse? +

Yes. Timelapse and interval shooting are designed for controlled sequences with the same visual approach as still photography. You can save the result as individual images or as a video file.

Troubleshooting

RAW option missing

Confirm your device supports RAW capture, then check whether RAW is available for the selected lens.

Imported LUT not visible

Make sure the file format is supported, the file remains on device storage, and the app has permission to read it.

Location not saved

Enable optional location permission and confirm Android location services are active before capturing geotagged frames.

Timelapse interrupted

Keep the device charged, avoid aggressive battery saver modes, and leave enough storage for the full image sequence or video file.
